Blaize Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: BZAI), a U.S.-based edge AI computing company, announced on Monday that it has secured a $56 million order to deploy its edge AI platform across more than 250,000 intelligent surveillance endpoints in Southeast Asia. The large-scale rollout, scheduled to begin in the second quarter of 2025 and extend through 2026, is part of a national smart infrastructure initiative in the region.

The deployment will integrate Blaize’s edge-native AI systems into urban monitoring applications including traffic management, license plate recognition, incident detection, and behavioral analytics. Blaize’s hybrid AI architecture—featuring its proprietary Graph Streaming Processor (GSP) and multimodal inference engine—enables real-time processing of data from multiple sensors at the network edge, while maintaining integration with centralized analytics.

“This is proof that real-world AI transformation is happening now,” said Dinakar Munagala, Co-founder and CEO of Blaize. “It reflects the strength of our technology and validates our approach to purpose-built, hybrid AI at the physical edge—bringing together edge inference and centralized intelligence to deliver meaningful outcomes.”

An advisor involved in the initiative said Blaize’s platform was chosen for its ability to process diverse sensor inputs on a single system, enabling rapid deployment and real-time performance in dynamic city environments.

The company expects to recognize $6 million in revenue from the contract across Q2 and Q3 of its 2025 fiscal year.

This deal marks a significant step forward for Blaize in expanding its global footprint in smart city infrastructure. The technology will support national goals around public safety, urban mobility, and digital transformation across fast-growing urban centers in Southeast Asia.
