Tokyo-based robotics innovator Mujin has announced the formation of a Global Leadership Cabinet (GLC) to unify its global operations and accelerate the commercial expansion of its flagship platform, MujinOS. The strategic move aims to align the company’s technology, product, sales, and governance functions across regions as it scales its next phase of global growth.
At the core of Mujin’s offering is MujinOS, a no-code automation platform built around a real-time digital twin—an always-updating model of a robotics system’s physical environment. By integrating motion planning, perception, and control, the platform allows robots to adapt autonomously to real-world variability without manual programming. The system is currently deployed in over a thousand robotic installations globally and is trusted by Fortune 100 companies, top system integrators, and leading robot OEMs.
“Mujin has always operated at the frontier of automation,” said Ross Diankov, co-founder of Mujin. “We’ve shown that intelligence can be built directly into machines, and we’re proving that this approach can scale across the world’s most demanding industries. Now it’s time to make MujinOS the global standard.”
With operations in Japan, the U.S., Europe, and China, each regional office plays a key role in Mujin’s global strategy. In Japan, the company leads automation deployments with a consulting-driven approach, pioneering robotics in applications such as bin picking, piece picking, and warehouse orchestration. In the U.S., Mujin focuses on commercialization and deployment in high-throughput logistics and manufacturing environments. The European office drives technical innovation, including dual-arm palletizing systems and automated baggage handling at airports. Meanwhile, the China team supports large-scale deployments across major logistics centers, underscoring the scalability of MujinOS in dynamic environments.
The newly formed Global Leadership Cabinet will coordinate global product development, drive cross-regional collaboration, and implement unified KPIs and governance structures. The initiative is aimed at ensuring consistency in execution and accelerating time-to-market for MujinOS worldwide.
“To bring intelligent automation to every corner of the world, we need more than just groundbreaking technology; we need structure, clarity, and global alignment,” said Issei Takino, co-founder of Mujin. “The formation of the GLC ensures that every function across Mujin is moving in sync, focused on accessibility, growth, and long-term partnerships.”
Founded by Diankov and Takino, Mujin has long focused on making robotics scalable, reliable, and accessible. With the creation of the GLC, the company strengthens its leadership bench with cross-functional expertise, setting the foundation for its next phase of expansion.
“The world is watching Mujin, and what we do next will shape the future of automation,” Diankov added. “Our mission is simple: put intelligent robotics within reach for every integrator, every warehouse, and every factory on Earth—and now we have the team and structure to make that happen.”
