Maieutic Semiconductor, a Bengaluru-based deep tech startup, has secured $4.15 million in seed funding to advance its generative AI platform aimed at transforming analog semiconductor design. The round was co-led by Endiya Partners and Exfinity Venture Partners.

Maieutic is developing a GenAI-first solution to streamline early-stage chip design, reduce review cycles, and enable automated analysis of complex design trade-offs—tasks traditionally reliant on extensive manual input and domain expertise. The startup aims to significantly accelerate time-to-market and plans to expand its engineering team following the fundraise.

“Semiconductor design has remained largely untouched by modern productivity enhancements,” said CEO and Co-founder Gireesh Rajendran. “At Maieutic, we are building a copilot that reduces design cycles from weeks to days and brings intelligence to every trade-off.” Rajendran previously co-founded radar startup Steradian Semiconductors, which was acquired in a successful exit.

Founded by industry veterans, Maieutic’s leadership includes Chief Business Officer Ashish Lachhwani, Chief Product Officer Rakesh Kumar, and Chief Technology Officer Krishna Sankar—collectively holding more than 70 patents and contributing to products that have shipped over a billion units globally.

The company is initially targeting analog integrated circuit (IC) design—a critical segment powering communications, automotive, and industrial applications. With the global semiconductor market forecasted to surpass $1 trillion by 2030, and analog chips remaining essential to most electronic systems, Maieutic’s solution addresses a timely market need.

“Analog workflows have long resisted automation,” said Sateesh Andra, Managing Partner at Endiya Partners. “Maieutic’s AI-first approach could lead to a foundational shift in how analog chips are designed and optimized.”

Chinnu Senthilkumar, Managing Partner at Exfinity Venture Partners, added that the team’s bold approach could make Maieutic a category-defining player. “They’re applying GenAI to one of the most complex areas in semiconductor design—a space ripe for disruption.”

As India accelerates its semiconductor strategy, Maieutic is positioning itself at the forefront of analog innovation, aiming to play a pivotal role in global chip design transformation.
