Samsung Expands Large-Screen Leadership With World’s First 130-Inch Micro RGB TV

Samsung Unveils World’s First 130-Inch Micro RGB TV Featuring Next-Generation Color and Bold New Design

Samsung Electronics has unveiled the world’s first 130-inch Micro RGB television, reinforcing its leadership in ultra-premium display technology and pushing the boundaries of what large-format TVs can deliver. Introduced at CES 2026, the new R95H model is Samsung’s largest Micro RGB display to date and reflects the company’s dual focus on advanced picture performance and design-led engineering.

The launch comes as demand grows for oversized, high-end displays in luxury homes, private theatres, and premium commercial environments. Samsung said the 130-inch Micro RGB TV builds on more than a decade of work in Micro LED and large-screen technologies, while also revisiting design ideas first introduced in the early 2010s, when the company began treating televisions as part of interior décor rather than standalone electronics.

From a design standpoint, the R95H adopts a refined “Timeless Frame,” inspired by architectural window frames and gallery installations. The frame is designed to make the screen appear as though it is floating, giving the display the presence of an immersive visual window rather than a conventional TV. Samsung said this approach is intended to visually expand the room and position the TV as a central design element. Audio hardware is integrated into the frame and tuned to the size of the display, aiming to create a more cohesive sound and picture experience.

Technically, the TV is built on Samsung’s most advanced Micro RGB platform. Micro RGB technology uses microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs to deliver precise control over color, brightness, and contrast at the pixel level. The 130-inch model is powered by the Micro RGB AI Engine Pro, alongside Micro RGB Color Booster Pro and Micro RGB HDR Pro. These systems use artificial intelligence to enhance color accuracy, boost contrast, and preserve fine details across both bright and dark scenes.

Samsung said the display achieves 100% coverage of the BT.2020 wide color gamut through its Micro RGB Precision Color 100 technology. The panel has been certified by Germany’s Verband der Elektrotechnik (VDE) for accurate Micro RGB color reproduction. To support consistent viewing in different environments, the TV also includes Samsung’s Glare Free technology, designed to reduce reflections and maintain image clarity in brightly lit rooms.

On the content and software side, the 130-inch Micro RGB TV supports HDR10+ Advanced and Eclipsa Audio for enhanced visual and audio performance. It also integrates Samsung’s Vision AI Companion, which enables conversational search, proactive recommendations, and access to a range of AI-driven features. These include AI Football Mode Pro, AI Sound Controller Pro, Live Translate, Generative Wallpaper, and integrations with services such as Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity.

With the introduction of the R95H, Samsung is positioning its largest Micro RGB TV as both a technological showcase and a statement product. The company is targeting buyers who prioritise scale, color accuracy, and design, as it continues to redefine expectations in the ultra-large television segment.
