Littelfuse Acquires Dortmund-Based 200nm Wafer Fab from Elmos Semiconductor SE

ZMC Absorbs American Semiconductor Silicon Solutions & Services Firm Pure Wafer

Industrial technology manufacturing company Littelfuse, Inc. (NASDAQ: LFUS) completes the acquisition of the 200nm wafer fab located in Dortmund, Germany from Elmos Semiconductor SE (FSE: ELG).

 

The acquisition was previously announced on June 28, 2023 and will be effective on December 31, 2024 at midnight (CET). The completion of this Dortmund fab acquisition will enhance Littelfuse’s long-term power semiconductor opportunities across a broad base of industrial end markets including energy storage, automation, motor drives, renewables, power supplies, and charging infrastructure.
