Credo Technology Group Holding Ltd (NASDAQ: CRDO), a provider of high-speed, energy-efficient connectivity solutions, announced the appointment of Brian Kelleher, former Senior Vice President of GPU Engineering at NVIDIA, to its Board of Directors as an independent director, effective October 27, 2025. The move coincides with the departure of Lip-Bu Tan, who resigned from the board on October 23, 2025.

Kelleher brings decades of experience in semiconductor design, GPU development, and AI systems, having played a pivotal role in advancing general-purpose GPU computing that underpins modern AI infrastructure.

“Brian brings deep expertise in designing and developing highly complex semiconductors and AI systems,” said Bill Brennan, President and CEO of Credo. “His distinguished contributions have shaped the rise of general-purpose GPU computing, profoundly impacting data infrastructure for AI-driven networks. I am pleased to welcome Brian to our Board, and his vast experience will be invaluable as we advance the next generation of high-speed connectivity solutions. I also want to recognize the immense contributions of Lip-Bu and thank him for his important role in our success.”

In his remarks, Kelleher emphasized the evolving importance of high-speed connectivity in AI networks. “This is truly a pivotal time for the industry as high-speed connectivity takes center stage with interconnects becoming critical technologies for scaling AI networks,” he said. “I’m thrilled to join Credo’s Board and contribute to the company’s vision of delivering faster, more reliable, energy-efficient, and scalable solutions for the next generation of AI applications.”

Kelleher’s career spans multiple high-profile roles in the semiconductor and graphics industries. He joined NVIDIA in 2000, serving as Senior Vice President of GPU Engineering from 2005 to 2024, where he led GPU product development and helped usher in the era of general-purpose GPU computing. Prior to NVIDIA, he was Vice President of Hardware Engineering at 3dfx Interactive and founded Dynamic Pictures, serving as CEO, CTO, and Executive Vice President. He also worked as head graphics designer for the MIPS-based development team at Digital Equipment Corp.

Kelleher currently advises Caspia Technologies and Snowcap Compute and holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Brown University.
