Aeva Opens First Office in China, Hires Industry Veteran Barrs Lang to Lead Sales of 4D LiDAR

The next-gen sensing and perception systems provider, Aeva (NYSE: AEVA) expands its presence into global market with its first office in China to deepen customer relationships across the APAC region. The company also hires LiDAR industry executive Barrs Lang to lead sales and accelerate go-to-market strategy for Aeva’s next-gen FMCW 4D LiDAR sensors. He will lead sales and accelerate Aeva’s go-to-market plans for mass market applications in non-automotive industries worldwide.

Barrs brings 15 years of experience in sales, and has joined Aeva as the VP of Global Sales. Prior to this, he was the VP of Sales for the Americas at Ouster. Before that, Barrs was Director of Sales at Finisar Corporation.

 

As an executive with more than 15 years of experience in sales, Barrs Lang joins Aeva as Vice President of Global Sales. Previously he was Vice President of Sales for the Americas at Ouster where he was responsible for the company’s strategic customers across the mobility, industrial automation, and robotics industries.
