Mobix Labs Boosts Wireless Capabilities with RaGE Systems Merger

Netmore Group, a leading network operator for Massive IoT, announced the acquisition of Arson Metering, a Spanish provider of remote meter reading and smart management solutions for water and gas supply networks. The deal strengthens Netmore’s position in utility automation and modernizes its offerings across Europe, where Arson Metering has an established presence.

Arson Metering specializes in advanced remote reading technologies, with deployments in over 200 municipalities across Spain, Italy, France, and Greece. The company currently manages more than 500,000 water and gas meters and maintains a backlog of roughly 350,000 meters. Its expertise in advanced metering infrastructure (AMI) and Meter Operations Centre services supports Netmore’s ability to meet strict regulatory and environmental standards while delivering reliable service to utilities.

“Acquiring Arson Metering is another transformative step for Netmore as we expand our ability to provide end-to-end solutions for utility automation and modernization across the globe,” said Ove Anebygd, CEO of Netmore Group. “Arson Metering’s innovative utility solutions and proven track record align with our mission to deliver high-quality, reliable, and easy-to-use solutions. Together, we’ll help municipalities and utilities tackle pressing challenges like water scarcity, leakage, and resource constraints, delivering measurable value to customers and communities.”

Amador Martínez, CEO of Arson Metering, said the acquisition opens new opportunities for global expansion. “Our shared approach to smarter, more efficient utility operations creates powerful synergy for utilities and smart cities. Customers will benefit from enhanced connectivity for water and gas networks, while Arson Metering gains access to Netmore’s infrastructure and expertise. We will continue to operate from our headquarters in Bilbao, maintaining our commitment to service excellence.”

Arson Metering offers products designed for efficient and sustainable water and gas management. Its Metering Control Centre monitors, diagnoses, and resolves meter and network issues proactively. The AquaCity Platform integrates multiple smart meter brands for real-time monitoring, anomaly detection, and data analytics for urban water management. The GasCity Platform provides automated valve control, anomaly detection, energy-efficient operation, and user-friendly data for gas distributors.
