After more than seven years leading Benchmark Electronics Inc. (NYSE: BHE), President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Benck will retire effective March 31, 2026. The company has appointed Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer David Moezidis as his successor. Moezidis assumes the role of President and CCO immediately and will become CEO upon Benck’s retirement. To ensure continuity, Benck will remain as an advisor until March 31, 2027.
Benck, who became CEO in 2019, has overseen Benchmark’s strategic transformation from a traditional electronics manufacturing services provider to a broader technology and engineering solutions partner. His leadership strengthened the company’s innovation agenda, expanded advanced manufacturing practices, and deepened its capabilities in high-growth markets such as aerospace, defense, semiconductors, and medical technology. During his tenure, Benchmark accelerated product development cycles and enhanced execution for customers navigating increasingly complex global regulatory environments.
In addition to driving operational and financial performance, Benck built a seasoned leadership team and fostered a culture rooted in innovation, customer-first execution, and employee development. Board Chair David Scheible credited him with guiding Benchmark through a period of transformative growth. “Jeff has left an indelible mark on the company,” Scheible said. “His leadership has set the stage for long-term success.”
Moezidis, who joined Benchmark in 2023, brings more than 35 years of industry experience. Before Benchmark, he spent 25 years at Flex, where he served as President of the Lifestyle Solutions group and earlier as Senior Vice President of the Industrial and Energy group. His career spans operations, engineering, sales, and marketing across digital imaging, semiconductor capital equipment, and electronics manufacturing. He holds two bachelor’s degrees in engineering, an MBA from Pepperdine University, and has completed Stanford’s Executive Management Program.
Benck described Moezidis as a trusted leader with deep knowledge of the EMS sector and a strong alignment with Benchmark’s mission and culture. “David has built strong customer relationships and played a pivotal role in advancing our strategic initiatives,” Benck said.
Benchmark, headquartered in Arizona, reported $2.5 billion in revenue in 2024.
