Keysight Technologies Inc. (NYSE: KEYS) has launched the Smart Bench Essentials Plus, a new suite of benchtop instruments designed to deliver higher precision, speed, and reliability in electronics testing. The release adds to Keysight’s growing line of solutions that aim to help engineers address the increasing complexity of modern electronic systems.
The Smart Bench Essentials Plus combines four fundamental test instruments—a digital multimeter, a waveform generator, a power supply, and an oscilloscope—into an integrated platform. Each product is manufactured under stringent standards such as ISO/IEC 17025, IEC 61010, and CSA, reflecting Keysight’s focus on compliance and global product safety.
Electronics today demand greater accuracy due to tighter interoperability requirements, more input-output signals, and stricter performance benchmarks across industries. To meet these needs, Keysight’s new platform introduces enhancements including broader channel capacity, reduced noise, and advanced connectivity features. The instruments are equipped with Keysight’s Truevolt technology, custom ASIC design, and 14-bit ADCs, enabling clearer signals and minimizing measurement errors that often affect product design validation.
In addition to technical precision, the instruments are built with usability and productivity in mind. Intuitive color-coded front panels, standardized menus, and built-in charting and analysis functions simplify workflows for engineers. Connectivity tools allow easy automation of repetitive tasks, while advanced software integration enables rapid configuration and streamlined data sharing across teams.
