Headquartered in El Dorado Hills, Calif., Blaize Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: BZAI, NASDAQ: BZAIW) has unveiled the Blaize AI Platform, an edge-native solution designed to deliver multimodal intelligence for mission-critical applications across industries such as public safety, defense, and infrastructure.
Built for programmability, energy efficiency, and ease of deployment, the platform processes video, audio, and sensor fusion data to help organizations deploy AI at scale without added complexity. Blaize said the platform is already in use in projects across Asia, with further deployments planned in other regions.
“As data becomes more complex and multi-modal, the need for scalable, hybrid AI infrastructure has never been greater,” said Dinakar Munagala, Blaize’s co-founder and chief executive officer. “The Blaize AI Platform is transforming fragmented data sources and systems into unified, responsive intelligence networks.”
The system integrates with existing GPU-based infrastructure while delivering high performance and lower total cost of ownership. Core capabilities include multi-modal sensor fusion, simultaneous AI model execution without batching delays, and scalability across rugged edge devices, workstations, and rack-mounted servers. A collaborative software stack is pre-integrated with domain-specific AI pipelines, enabling faster deployment.
The launch is supported by a growing network of Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) whose solutions are optimized for Blaize hardware. Partners include AlwaysAI for computer vision tools, CVEDIA for synthetic data-driven video analytics, OrionVM for edge-to-cloud infrastructure, Thrive Logic for operational AI workflows, Videonetics for AI-enabled video management, VSaaS.ai for no-code video pipeline deployment, and VSBLTY for audience analytics and real-time security.
For large-scale deployments, Blaize technology is available in Supermicro’s 1U server system, which houses 24 Blaize® GSP® Xplorer® X1600 EDSFF accelerators. This setup provides high-density inference for city-wide, industrial, and defense operations while using less energy and cooling than traditional GPU-heavy systems.
By replacing passive data collection with proactive intelligence, Blaize aims to accelerate AI adoption across distributed environments, supporting hybrid deployments and interoperability with existing infrastructure. The Blaize AI Platform is available now, with demonstrations and further information available on the company’s website.
