Aeva Inc. (NASDAQ: AEVA), a leading provider of next-generation sensing and perception systems, showcased its strategic vision and expanding market presence during its flagship event, Aeva Day: Beyond the Beam, held in New York City. The event brought together global automotive OEMs, industrial partners, and technology leaders to demonstrate how Aeva’s unique 4D LiDAR and perception platform is poised to reshape sensing applications across multiple industries.

The company emphasized its use of Frequency-Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) technology as a key differentiator in enabling high-resolution, real-time perception at mass scale. CEO and Co-founder Soroush Salehian said Aeva is reaching an “inflection point,” where years of foundational investments are now converging into next-generation capabilities across automotive, infrastructure, and industrial markets.

Aeva highlighted several major partnerships during the event. Mercedes-Benz and Wideye by AGC presented their joint efforts with Aeva on integrating 4D LiDAR into next-generation passenger vehicles, aiming to support Level 3 automated driving at highway speeds. In the commercial vehicle segment, Bendix is working with Aeva to embed its LiDAR technology into its flagship ADAS systems, supporting collision mitigation in a market where over 300,000 Class 8 trucks are sold annually across platforms including Paccar, Navistar, and Volvo Group.

Autonomous trucking was also in focus, with Daimler Truck and Torc Robotics sharing progress toward series production (SOP) of Level 4 autonomous vehicles using Aeva’s sensing technology. LG Innotek, a key manufacturing partner, announced plans to scale production of Aeva’s Atlas Ultra sensor for top-tier passenger vehicle OEMs and expand into robotics and consumer electronics markets.

Beyond transportation, Aeva’s technology is being adopted in smart infrastructure and industrial automation. Sotereon.ai and D2 Traffic Technologies are using Aeva’s LiDAR to enhance traffic safety and efficiency, while LMI Technologies and Nikon are applying it to precision factory and process automation.

On the manufacturing front, Aeva is partnering with Tower Semiconductor and Jabil to scale production of its LiDAR-on-chip platform, a compact and cost-efficient solution critical to mass deployment.

Alongside product and partnership announcements, Aeva reported its second-quarter financial results. The company posted Q2 2025 revenue of $5.5 million, more than double the $2.0 million from Q2 2024. GAAP operating loss narrowed to $34.9 million, down from $48.9 million the previous year, while non-GAAP operating loss improved to $25.1 million from $32.0 million. Cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities totaled $49.8 million, with an additional $125 million in available equity financing.

Aeva also recorded a $77.5 million share subscription liability reflecting a strategic investment by LG Innotek, which is expected to convert into equity upon closing. Despite reporting a wider GAAP net loss per share of $3.49, non-GAAP net loss per share improved to $0.44, signaling tighter cost controls and improved efficiency.

The company reiterated its goal of deploying its unified perception platform across high-volume markets, positioning Aeva at the forefront of next-generation autonomous sensing.
