Quasi Robotics, a Maryland-based developer of autonomous mobile robotic (AMR) systems, has signed a strategic distribution agreement with Electrix Co. Ltd, a Busan-based automation company with over two decades of experience in South Korea’s industrial sector.
As part of the agreement, Electrix will act as the exclusive distributor of Quasi’s Model C2 AMR carts in South Korea. The partnership aims to introduce intelligent, next-generation intralogistics automation to industries such as shipbuilding, offshore and marine engineering, defense, power generation, semiconductors, and factory automation.
Quasi Robotics’ Model C2 platform is designed for fully autonomous indoor transport. Available in Standard, Mini, Large, and specialized variants, the AMR carts offer intelligent navigation, modular payload options, and a customizable interface. The platform is currently used in a range of environments globally, including factories, laboratories, and healthcare facilities.
Electrix brings extensive integration expertise and a well-established customer base in South Korea. The partnership allows the company to expand its automation offerings with mobile robotic solutions suited for high-demand industrial settings.
“We are seeing a strong demand in South Korea for smart, reliable automation in logistics and materials handling,” said Kevin Lee, CEO of Electrix. “Quasi’s C2 carts offer the performance and flexibility needed to meet evolving customer needs.”
Vlad Lebedev, CEO of Quasi Robotics, highlighted the importance of local partnerships. “South Korea is a global hub for manufacturing and technology. Electrix’s technical knowledge and market presence make them an ideal partner for expanding our footprint.”
The partnership is part of Quasi Robotics’ broader global expansion strategy, following recent deployments in Europe, North America, and Latin America, as demand for AMR solutions continues to rise worldwide.
