Elliptic Labs and Intel Partner to Power Smarter AI PCs

Elliptic Labs’ INNER BEAUTY Proximity Sensor Enhances HONOR 90 GT Smartphone’s Call Experience

Elliptic Labs (EuroNext Growth: ELABS.OL), a global AI software company and provider of AI Virtual Smart Sensor™ technology, has entered into a long-term partnership with Intel to enhance the capabilities of next-generation AI-enabled laptops.

The collaboration integrates Elliptic Labs’ AI Virtual Smart Sensor software with Intel’s AI chip platforms to deliver intelligent features that allow PCs to sense and respond to user presence and activity. These capabilities include automatic screen wake-up, device interconnectivity, and context-aware adjustments aimed at improving user experience and efficiency.

The AI Virtual Smart Sensor software is already in use on select Intel-powered laptops and is designed to operate efficiently without compromising battery life. The software runs on-device, ensuring user privacy and low latency in real-time interactions.

Laila Danielsen, CEO of Elliptic Labs, emphasized the impact of the collaboration, stating, “As more Intel AI laptops adopt our software, this partnership reflects the potential for smarter, more sustainable computing experiences.”

Intel’s Ken McKee, Vice President of Customer Engineering, added, “AI is transforming the way people interact with technology. Our partnership with Elliptic Labs supports that shift by delivering responsive, on-device AI solutions that adapt in real time.”

The partnership marks a strategic step in both companies’ efforts to shape the evolution of personal computing. By combining software intelligence with hardware efficiency, Elliptic Labs and Intel aim to set new benchmarks for usability, responsiveness, and energy conservation in consumer devices.
